Spinach and mushroom calzone

So this recipe is an eyeball measurement because it depends on how big or small you cut your Pillsbury Pizza Dough. I used 2 tubes of dough  (8 calzones).

Cut 16 pieces of mozzarella cheese about one inch cubes. Slice up green onions (amount depends on how much you love onions). Wash and pat dry a large handful of spinach leaves. Slice up about 8 mushrooms.

Roll one tube of dough out and cut into 4 equal pieces and flatten with your hands.

Place 2 pieces of mozzarella on a piece of dough, add onions, mushroom slices and spinach. Enough to have flavor but not too much so you can’t fold up your dough. Close dough and pinch edges. Repeat for the rest of the dough.

Bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes. Or until golden. My edges took a bit for the dough to cook, so I think it was an did bout 20 minutes.

Such an easy dinner and it is delicious! Cannot wait to try different variations of this.

Enjoy & HAPPY COOKING!(:
