As promised, apple recipes! My favorite has been the fresh chunky applesauce, but this one turned out to be delicious as well!! It was so quick and easy, my two year old helped with most of it 😛
Crust:
1 1/4 cup flour
1 T sugar
3 T cold water
8 T butter
Mix all ingredients in a bowl, cutting in butter last. Once it forms, roll out on floured surface to make the crust. I roll mine out wider than my pie pan so I can fold it over the top to make a more “turnover” look to it.
Pie filling:
4-5 cups chopped apples
1 T cinnamon
3 T flour
1/2 cup sugar
Just add everything on top of your pie crust, fold over the crust and bake at 325 for about 1 hour.
